Death Valley in Bloom • 36×36 • Acrylic on Canvas

In 2004 Death Valley received more rain than it had in 40 years. Dormant flowers that had not been seen for that long bloomed to remind us that we may have beauty within us that is yet to be observed.
Sometimes it takes a long rain to inspire us to bloom again. There is always hope.
